The annual Scientific Fall Symposium of the Dutch federation of Nephrology will be organized this year on Friday October 7th 2016 in conference center De Werelt in Lunteren( ~10.00 to ~17.00 hours).
In parallel with the NfN Scientific Fall Symposium, the Dutch Association of renal patients (NVN) and “Niernieuws.nl” will organize their own program at the same location in which research topics will be presented in layman language to renal patients and others interested in this topic. In this context, a joint opening and closing session will be held with topics including patient participation in scientific research and the NVN science agenda.
The NfN Scientific Fall Symposium covers all aspects of experimental, clinical and epidemiological research in the field of Nephrology.
The scientific board of the Dutch federation of Nephrology cordially invites scientists to submit abstracts by sending an E-mail with a Word file attached to: najaarsvergadering2016@gmail.com
Also this year several great prizes will be awarded to young investigators presenting their work (PhD students or junior post-docs). The first, second and third prizes awarded for the oral presentations will be 500, 250 and 100 EURO, respectively. In addition a price of 100 EURO will be awarded for the best poster presentation. In addition, some selected abstract submitters can be asked to present their data (in Dutch and Laymen terminology), on a voluntary basis, at the parallel NVN/NierNieuws meeting.
It may be efficient to consider the abstracts recently submitted for the 2016 ASN renal meeting also for the 2016 Scientific Fall Symposium.
Abstracts submission deadline is Wednesday September 7th 2016, 23.59 hours.
Around September 19th 2016 authors will be notified about acceptance as an oral presentation or poster.
