Meer informatie: Recent insights have emphasized the dynamic role of bone in CKD. Traditional biomarkers generally reflect details of bone disease only poorly. The technique and current position of bone biopsy will be addressed. In addition, as the diagnostic and therapeutic armamentarium is increasing to identify and modify bone turnover, also during this symposium a broad overview of these new developments and insights will be provided, and placed into perspective of the upcoming updated KDIGO guideline on CKD-MBD. This will be presented by top European experts, with guest lecturer professor Fukagawa from Japan. Moreover, young researchers will present their work and the program contains interactive sessions to discuss translation of novel insights into clinical practice. Registration maximum is fixed at 120. There is no registration fee.
The symposium is CME approved by ERA-EDTA and Dutch NIV and European UEMS accreditation is pending.
Deadline for abstract submission is June 30,2016. Abstract should be no longer than 300 words, and in addition can contain one figure or legend.
