Dear Collagues,

As you know, Italy is one of the countries in which the infection has spread most rapidly and where the number of deaths is higher tannin China. On March 23rd, the total number of deaths was 6077.

Enclosed here you can find the paper published in Journal of Nephrology and based on the real experience of dialysis units in Lombardy, the italian region with the highest number of infections and deaths in Italy.

Many patients on dialysis resulted infected and in the paper we report all the manoeuvres we did in order to prevent more infections, in particular in dialysis nurses and doctors.

I hope the document can help the members of your societies to avoid the outbreak of infection in dialysis units.
